The training also emphasizes *the use of tools and materials, fastening and riveting techniques, workplace safety, and work documentation* to ensure that repairs are carried out safely and in compliance with standards.

Provide participants with fundamental knowledge, understanding, and technical skills to perform aircraft metal structural maintenance and repair activities by applying Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) principles and aviation industry safety standards. The training covers the introduction of Aircraft Metal Structural Repair, the use of sheet metal construction and repair tools including layout tools, marking tools, cutting tools, shop tools, and hand cutting tools, as well as the application of layout and forming, sheet metal cutting, cutting and bending sheet metal, and bending and jogling sheet metal techniques. Participants are also trained in the use of shrinking and stretching tools through various methods, including stretching by hammer, stretching by machine, and shrinking by machine, to shape and adjust aircraft structural materials. Furthermore, this training provides knowledge of aluminum alloys, the types and functions of structural fasteners, basic principles of sheet metal repair, basic riveting techniques, angle bracket fabrication, and patching methods in accordance with aircraft structural repair procedures. Through the learning process and final examination, participants develop fundamental competencies to perform aircraft structure inspection, fabrication, and repair activities safely, accurately, and in compliance with aviation industry standards.
